Find your life path

http://www.thewhimsicalwildling.com/2016/08/find-your-life-path.html

I have always been intrigued and fascinated by spirituality. Palm readings, tarot cards and the way humans can gain information from reading the stars amazes me. In fact, I've always felt very connected to the big exploding balls of gas, twinkling in the night sky and the large rock we call the moon.

What also fascinates me is Numerology and Ancient science. When we look back, it is apparent that almost every empire, secret society and nation throughout history has used numbers as a guide to gain a deeper understanding of the universe and the world around them. From the Egyptians to the Greeks, to the Chinese and the Mayans, civilizations have been using numbers in amazing and beautiful ways. What many don’t know is that some of the most archaic societies used numbers as a way to better connect with themselves.

The most important number in your Numerology chart is your Life Path number. It is also, often referred to as your number of Destiny. Derived from your date of birth, your life path number identifies your skills and abilities, the negative traits that you must balance, and even the motivation and purpose of your life. It reveals a broad outline of the opportunities, challenges and lessons you will encounter during this lifetime.

Here’s how to calculate your life path number using your birth date:

1. Take the number of your birth day and add the digits together.

2. Take the digits of your birth month and add them together. If the number is greater than 9, then add the two digits of the previous sum together.

3.  Take the digits of your birth year and add them together. If the number is greater than 9, then add the two digits of the previous sum together. Repeat until you have a single digit number.

4. Total the sum of steps 1, 2, and 3. If the number is greater than nine then add the digits of the previous sum together to get your life path number.

Here’s an example of my calculation:

Birth Date: 19/06/1996

Day
: 19 = 1 + 9 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1

Month: 06 = 6

Year: 1996 = 1 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 25 = 2 + 5 = 7

6 + 1 + 7 = 14

1 + 4 = 5

Life Path Number: 5

Take this opportunity to calculate your life path number and read below to discover what your number of destiny means. As I have became so intrigued by this science, I have also created illustrations for each path number, portraying my own interpretation of each personality.

1. T H E   L E A D E R

 Bold, determined, independent and pioneering.

The number one is the force from which all other numbers stem from. Therefore, the number one possesses powerful energies of creation. The 1 is a doer, a powerful force that produces results and does not allow anything or anyone to limit their potential. They are fiercely independent, a pioneering spirit and have the drive to accomplish anything they set their mind to. Someone with a life path number 1 insists on their right to make up their own mind. They demand freedom of thought and action.

Life path 1's take on the responsibility to be the protector and provider for those they love. 1's demand respect and attention and become irritated and even domineering when important things do not go their way. A lover of the spotlight, they have an overwhelming need to feel in command of important undertakings. 1's are seekers of the forefront with a unique approach to problem solving and an exceptional flare for originality and creativity.

Number 1 isn't usually known for their patience. This is primarily due to the fact they have so much to accomplish in this lifetime and so little time to do it. To a number 1, there simply isn't time to stop and smell the roses. To many, they may appear selfish at times, however, this comes from a compelling urge for freedom and action, as well as preoccupation to establish their identity.

Usually, a person with a 1 Life Path will achieve many things in their lifetime, However, only if their drive, creativity, originality and pioneering spirit are acknowledged and pushed to their full potential.

 Negative Traits:

Overly assertive or aggressive, dominating, impulsiveness, egotistic, boastfulness, willfulness.

Advice:

Learn to stay calm.

You can become very easily stressed by your driven nature. For this reason, it is perhaps more ideal that you have your own business and become your own boss. Competitive sports are a great outlet for someone with your persistence and ambition.

Don't let your anger have power over you or take control. Nor allow pride and overconfidence be your masters. Remember, your talents and abilities are a gift from a higher source, which should promote gratitude and humility, rather than pride and conceit.

2. T H E   P E A C E M A K E R

Cooperative, intuitive, peaceful and sensitive.

The number two represents union, therefore, they are in a constant and eternal search for their other half- their compliment. 2 is considered the most feminine and underrated.

Sensitivity and perceptiveness are two of the more dominant qualities of life path 2's. They intuitively know what people want or feel, and in turn can be extremely diplomatic and tactful. This may be due to their shy qualities which allows them to develop their intuition and patience. This quality also results in being a good listener and an ability to mediate situations when faced.

Although number 2's strongly avoid confrontation, when presented with an argument they are able to fully understand both sides. Undeniably humble in nature, 2's have a strong ability to nurture others. However, they may possess a nervous energy which in turn can cause them to become oversensitive and indecisive.

A 2 may feel incomplete without someone to share their love, ideals, wealth or work.  Symbolically, the initial difficulty for a number 2 is the fear of being alone. However on a much deeper level they feel a much greater sadness where there is a lack of harmony or evidence of disapproval.

 Positive Traits:

Cooperation, adaptability, considerate of others, sensitive to the needs of others, partnering, an arbiter or mediator, modest, sincere, spiritually influenced, a diplomat.

 Negative Traits:
Shyness, timidity, fear, self-consciousness, drown in detail, depression.

Advice:

 Stand up for yourself.

Your sensitivity can become your greatest strength but also your biggest downfall. You have a delicate ego and can make too much of someone else's thoughtless remarks or criticisms. This in turn, can result in considerable resentment and anger. You then fear becoming hurt again and run from confrontation.

Try and look for your amazing inner strength. You will discover your enormous power and abilities that will give you the courage to stand up for yourself. Use your beautiful personality to guide others. Seek out work that allows your sensitive nature to flourish and your wonderful ability to create harmony for a life of fulfillment.

3.  T H E   C R E A T I V E

Expressive, jovial, optimistic and sociable.

The number three is the number of trinity. Number 3 departures from the Number 2 - the source of balance and harmony, therefore, they are always seeking to discover this balance in creating something new. Due to this, 3's have an intense urge for self-expression and variety. Furthermore, if numerology number 1 has male energy qualities, numerology number 2 has female energy qualities – numerology number 3 has strong connection to child like energies.

Many actors, artists and writers are born under this life path. 3's have a natural talent for the expressive arts, this may have been very apparent from a young age. 3's often aspire to pursue a creative career during childhood caused by their strong urges to express their feelings and ideas in a creative way.

Many 3's are often accustomed to being the center of attention, caused by their gift of self expression. However, this can easily squander their talent by becoming a social butterfly.  Often the reason behind their popularity is due to their optimism and 'happy go lucky' attitude.  Their creativity is the gift that can give them the comfort and luxury they so wish to desire. Despite this, it is not succeeded, unless, they are focused and discipline themselves.

The most difficult part for a 3 is uncertainty. They find it all too easy to become bored and thus, can move from one job to another, switch projects and lovers. The high creative force of 3's can lead them to either happiness or unhappiness. However, if they can discover and acknowledge their goals and make major life decisions, they are truly a force to be reckoned with. The number 3 is the closest number to the Source, but the Light may become a Dynamite when there is deviation and the pursuit of temptation.

 Positive Traits:

Self-expressive in many ways, verbalization, inspiration and keen imagination, artistic gifts, accurate impressions and insights, never-ending optimism, happy and fun-loving, enjoys life fully.

 Negative Traits:

Scattered energies, exaggeration, unfinished projects, lack of direction, moody, self-centered.

Advice:

Embrace the negative energy.

When hurt, you withdraw into a cloud of silence. With time, you emerge from your isolation with jokes and laughter that cover up your true feelings. This can be incredibly soul crushing, causing you to become moody and cynical. Something you deeply despise due to your love and need to be optimistic.

Once you emerge from that cloud, use your talents and channel these emotions in a positive way so as not to lose yourself. You have the ability to inspire so many people. Take your talent of self expression and place it under a positive light. You can be a great inspiration force in the world- uplifting others whilst achieving the success and happiness you long for.

4.  T H E   P R A C T I C A L

Helpful, logical, persevering and self-disciplined.

The number four is a symbol of earth; the fourth element. It represents completion, enclosure and foundation. Therefore, 4's are very grounded and seek to establish a solid foundation. They are orderly, decisive and methodical employing a step-by-step rational approach to problem solving.

A very realistic individual, 4's are very goal-orientated. However, these goals have to be reachable. Unlike an idealist, 4's are very willing to work towards a brighter future in a realistic way. Due to their rigid ideas, they can become very quick to judge if a goal is presented before them that seems unobtainable or impossible.

4 is associated with home, stability and security. They handle money carefully and often find themselves in a career earlier than most- lead by their love for work. 4's have a deep desire for responsibility, they possess a rare discipline and perseverance which not many can keep up with. Due to their attention to detail and top notch organization skills, 4's can often appear too stubborn and overly critical. However, this makes them very dependable, trustworthy and down-to-earth.

Those born under the life path 4, have a tendency to let their true feelings be known to all those around them, which can sometimes turn other people away from them. Although practical and good planners, Fours are extremely cautious, and don't deviate much from their master plan. This can sometimes cause them to miss opportunities that arise because they don't act on them quickly enough.

 Positive Traits:

Strong sense of order and values, struggle against limits, steady growth, highly practical, scientific mind, attention to detail, foundation for achievement, a genius for organization, fine management skills.

 Negative Traits:

Lack of imagination, caught up in detail, stubborn fixed opinions, argumentative, slow to act, too serious, confused.

Advice:

Be more open-minded.

Sometimes you are too quick to dismiss an idea if it does not fit in with your standards and ideals. Anything that violates your profound sense of order can be an utterly shattering experience for you. This may be caused by your judgemental tendencies and strong opinions. You can also be overly cautious when changes are at foot. This can cause you to miss opportunities that present themselves. Try to cultivate flexibility in your character.

You have many skills that can help make this world a better place and in turn develop and improve yourself. You would probably enjoy volunteering in some way. Look for something that lets you pass on your skills to others.

5. T H E   F R E E   S P I R I T

Adventurous, curious, expansive and witty.

The number five is the "Number of Man" and his original five senses. This represents Change, Variety, Opportunity, Travel, Escape and fluctuating Life Experience. With a deep love for adventure, 5's often suffer from wanderlust; a strong desire to travel. Therefore, they are very restless and possess the curiosity of a cat with a longing to experience as much of life as humanly possible. Sometimes more. 5's value freedom and see this as the most important part in their path of life.

Those born under the life path 5 stand in the center and try to reach all points at the same time, always seeking new places, new faces, new changes and new experiences. They may have been perceived as a 'wild child' by adults during their childhood. It may have been a source of concern, resulting in feeling obliged to hurry their life decisions. However, 5's are often late-bloomers mainly from a strong desire to experience life and gain a better understanding before committing or 'settling down'.

Although taking risks is second nature to 5's- because a life without adventure seems incredibly mundane- this can mean they are impulsive or irresponsible. Due to the 5's yearn for freedom, they may never be satisfied with whatever they have now. Every time they are getting something they want, they are still uncertain and sometimes fearful of what lies ahead, so there is a new change which must be made. For them, there is more freedom just around the corner.

5's have their 6th sense of being honest in order to expect honesty and justice from others. This doesn't mean they are always reliable or responsible. Their growth is vital, and they don't like to be tied up by rules and obligations.

 Positive Traits:

Expansiveness, new and visionary ideas, quick thinking, versatile and ever-changing, action oriented, curious and exploring, promoting, resourceful in using freedom constructively.

 Negative Traits:

Restless, discontent, edgy temperament and speech, dissatisfaction, too many hasty decisions, impatience, lacking in application. - See more at: http://www.astrology-numerology.com/numerology.html#sthash.pq3UuYX5.dpuf
Restless, discontent, edgy temperament and speech, dissatisfaction, too many hasty decisions, impatience, lacking in application.

Advice:

Find an anchor.

Your challenge is to learn the true meaning of freedom Due to your restless spirit, you will find it difficult to settle into one area. Maintaining an effective workout schedule and keeping your body in shape will promote security and confidence with you. This will also help channel your restlessness.

You are multi-talented and possess a variety of diverse abilities. However, discipline and focus are the true keys to your success. Learn to control your daredevil attitude and find an anchor to keep you grounded. Failing to do so will result in many of your tasks to remain unfinished and you will be unable to see the true extent of your abilities. Once you find your niche, the motivation and inspiration you supply others will bring you much in return. With hard work and perseverance the sky is the limit.

6's have a strong concern for the weak and downtrodden. Born healers, they possess great compassion and seek to be of service to others. A 6's task in life is to develop the skills required to be truly helpful to others, instead of simply being a sympathetic ear.

The temptation and the danger for you is to think of yourself as the savior of the world, carrying the burdens of others on your shoulders. You must learn the delicate art of the counselor. Acknowledging when to leave the struggle to others and that it is not always your responsibility to serve others.

Externally a 7 will appear peaceful, but internally they are always thinking. Many people may see them as a perfectionist, but certainly the positive kind. This is due to their silence, peace and self-examination which inevitably results in a sense of perfectionism. To many, a 7 may come across as an old soul. They could have fit in, in a previous time period because of their nostalgic behavior.

7's truly enjoy solitude and prefer to work independently. This is mainly due to their need to reflect on their ideas without the interruption of others thoughts. Advice:

Be honest with yourself

You have a true gift for examining your life objectively, and at some distance. When you are not in harmony with your true nature, you can fall to moodiness, or become aloof, and withdrawn. You can become timid, uncertain, and ungrateful, putting the blame for your troubles on others or the world.

You may have a tendency to end relationships every time you encounter a rough patch. Learn to see those situations as temporary. Taking the easy way out isn't always the best thing to do and may leave you feeling regretful. By openly facing your shortcomings, as well as your strengths, you develop balance.
