Bra-blems: How to solve your bra problems

To put it bluntly, I bloody hate wearing bras. My most joyous of days consists of not wearing a bra. I think it's down to my free-spirited nature that this hatred ensues. I despise feeling constricted and that's how I feel with these infernal things on. Like I can't be free. Honestly, if I can get away with not wearing this 'necessity' then you bet I'll be jumping on that ship. This has been easier since loosing a load of weight last year.
I know I can't be the only one that takes her bra off the minute she gets home. Bra-blems are a real thing and the list of issues bra's can cause for us ladies is ever growing. If the straps aren't falling off, then it's the wires' digging in to your ribs or back. This then causes agonizing aches and pains. Resulting in the most irritating job of constantly having to readjust your bra throughout the day, all the while, attempting to look gracious and do so secretly. A task even MI5 agent's will struggle to carry out.
What concerns me the most about these bra-blems, is the health issues caused by a poor fitting bra. There are numerous risks of wearing the wrong size bra and those rib pains or back aches can evolve into something much more serious. You could get scarring on each side of your breasts or underneath, this is not immediately noticeable and is instead something which happens over a long period of time.  This is common with women who wear a bra which is too tight.
Another issue is bad body posture, which can cause you to stay in a hunched position during your elderly years. The back and neck pain can become unbearable.
There is also more dangerous effects, such as the blockage of lymph nodes. Lymphatic vessels on the breasts are very thin. They can easily be compressed with constant minimum pressure from tight fitting bras. This pressure can close the lymph valves and vessels. Breast ligaments can also be teared, causing irreversible damage which result in harsh pains and sagging.
Thankfully I have the perfect solution to rid us all of those petty problems caused by bra's. ThirdLove is an incredible brand which specializes in high quality underwear and well-fitting bras. Their philosophy is that a woman should not just be able to wear a pretty bra but for it to actually offer support and a perfect fit which isn't going to cause detrimental issues on your health. I've had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with this brand, and share their guide with you on how to solve issues caused by bra's. I believe this is vital knowledge every woman should be taught, for her own health and comfort. So she may go about her day without being bothered about the bra that's not fitting her properly.
My worst bra experiences were apparent, only a mere 18 months ago. I've always been bustier than other women-it's my natural body shape and I wouldn't change it for the world! However, when I was vastly overweight, they were obviously larger than they were supposed to be. Needless to say, I've been on the end of the spectrum among large busted ladies and let me tell you it's not fun. Finding a bra that gave enough support, looked cute, and fit my body shape was a nightmare, to say the least. I remember being in constant pain and immense discomfort every day. I was in denial about my body and it resulted in trying to fit into a bra that was two sizes too small. Thankfully, ThirdLove offer beautiful designs that will look cute and be in your correct size.
I encourage every woman to check for symptoms of an ill-fitting bra and if you find yourself ticking boxes, please treat this. Your future self will thank you, not to mention you'll find it more of a pleasure to wear bras. I highly recommend looking into ThirdLove, for an unforgettable bra fitting experience and an amazing online service to solve any bra-blems and help you find the perfect fit.

Awww this is so lovely and helpful too! I fall in to your writing so easily, I'm always gripped by the simplest of your stories haha and loved reading your vegan experience story especially - you should absolutely write a novel haha! I am the opposite to everyone, I love wearing a bra and feel so uncomfortable without one, but I am small chested and probably just weird haha - my mum definitely thinks so :D forever adoring your blog! xx

I DETEST wearing bras and take every chance I can to not wear a bra -- hence the tendency to wear oversized items 90% of the time. Thank you for sharing the infographic, Eloise!
