My Daily Skincare Routine (Cruelty Free)

My skin care routine has barely changed since I was about thirteen when puberty grabbed me by it's dirty hands and presented me with a fair bit of acne. It was my mother who had introduced me to Liz Earle and seeing the great results she had with her young looking skin and the fact that she had been using this brand for over twenty years, I couldn't really not use them.

Whilst diet really is the best beauty enhancer and it was only when I became vegan and started eating healthy and what was natural for my body, did my skin truly clear up and a healthy glow mentioned by many, was obtained. Nonetheless, Liz Earle really helped and I still continue to use it day in, day out without fail. I've recently added in two other products, seen as how the weather hasn't really picked up much in heat, here in England.

As you will be able to tell, I don't like to use many products as I think it's in everyone's best interest- particularly my own- to stay as natural as possible. On the other hand, what works for me, may very well not work for someone else.

With four easy steps, there's not much space to go wrong with my daily skin care routine.

1.  C L E A N S E
Using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in Rose and Lavender, dampen face with hot water and apply generously all over the skin. The heat will open pores to allow the cleanser to clean the skin and remove any dirt. With a hot, damp muslin cloth rub over the face with gentle circular motions. I like to focus on just cleaning and rejuvenating my face and neck on the morning and removing any makeup when I repeat my routine on the evening.
2.  S P R I T Z
Whilst the pores are still open, let the skin dry for approximately thirty seconds, then apply the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic all over the face. I like to do this by twisting up the cap and pouring a small amount onto a cotton wool pad, sweeping over the face and neck. This helps re-hydrate the skin and soothes any irritated areas. It is also perfect to carry around in your bag during the hotter months for a quick refresher.
3.  M O I S T U R I S E
As I have quite dry skin, this step is really vital for me, however not recommended for those with oily skin types. If you are the latter then simply dampen the face with cold water to close the pores back up. Follow this next part if you have a similar skin type to mine. Using the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser, ( I use the one for dry/sensitive skin types) apply all over the face, not forgetting the neck also. Ensure to only use a small bit at a time, something akin to a fifty pence piece will be more than enough as this product really goes a long way and you don't want to be left with slimy skin. Believe me, it's not fun.
4.  R E P A I R
Lastly, I like to use the Ted Baker hand cream and lip balm to rehydrate my hands and lips as I'm constantly battling with dry skin.

You seem to have a really good daily routine - only a few products, and good quality! I've always wanted to create myself a routine with all products from the same brand. For some reason I think it'd make them more effective as they were created as part of a whole range and they should all work great together. I've never tried Liz Earle but these days I've been investing more in my skincare, so I'll possibly try the brand in the future!
Also, I didn't know that Ted Baker skincare was cruelty - I'm happy to have discovered that!
